Did you know that you can use TEXTING to report power outages, and to get updates on when the electricity in Round Rock is estimated to be restored?

It’s called “TEXT ONCOR”
The Text Oncor Program is a 24 hour service that allows Round Rock electricity customers to use texting to
- Report power outages and,
- Receive outage status updates and restoration messages
Further, you can use it to check the status of, and obtain updates on some types of electricity service requests.
To Set up and use the Text Oncor program it is a simple process:
First, you’ll need your ESI ID and Zip Code available (you can find your ESI ID on your electric bill)

ONCOR will send a text back – Reply to that text with the last 7 digits of your ESI ID and/or the Zip Code associated with your service address.
Don’t worry, you will have the option to opt-out of the texting program at anytime by texting “STOP” to 66267.
